BriefMine has launched a new legal research platform: a database of over 150,000 legal briefs, assembled through a partnership with the Law Library Microform Consortium and the Los Angeles Law Library.

The briefs come from multiple states and federal jurisdictions, and the platform has both a natural language search and more advanced search options. BriefMine users can save briefs in the cloud, view them online, and download an unlimited number of documents.

BriefMine says that one of its goals is to be accessible to solo practitioners and small firms; the service charges a flat rate of $34 per month for full access to the site. The site has been in beta testing for six months and the company plans to add more features in the future.

BriefMine is based in California.
