We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Desktop Support Associate to join our Desktop Services team on a six-month project. This person will be based out of the Bloomington location with some travel to our clinics/hospitals based on customer need.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist the Desktop Services team with a Windows 7 project. This is a full-time paid ($18/hour) position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The length of this assignment is approximately six months.
Responsibilities:
* Assist/support the Desktop Services team during the Windows 7 upgrade
* Support customers at their work stations, back up files, and replaces or upgrade PCs
* Answer any customer questions regarding the Windows 7 upgrade
* Other tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
* Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Management Information Systems program
* Excellent computer skills, must have strong knowledge of Windows 7
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent listening and writing skills
* Must be flexible
* Must be willing to travel to several locations with reliable transportation
