Due to my occupation as social media workshop facilitator, I am always on the lookout for updated numbers. I cover the main platforms on my other blog Social Media Slant. However, I cannot be everywhere.
That’s why I am thankful when I find a gem like the list created by Craig Smith. He has uncovered figures for sites and apps that I would have never found on my own, including Digg, Deezer, Flickr, Gmail, Hootsuite, Netflix, and Scoop.it. For example, I learnt that Amazon has 209 million users, Evernote 65 million, and Feedly 13 million.
Note that the numbers are for October 2013. Craig has also provided links to data sources.
